Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Program

Granite Mountain Training’s Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Program is a 244-clock-hour hybrid training program designed for currently certified or licensed EMTs who are ready to expand their clinical knowledge, patient-assessment abilities, treatment skills, and prehospital decision-making within the AEMT scope of practice.

Program at a Glance

Program length: Approximately 10 weeks


Total program hours: 244 clock hours


Didactic and practical skills: 100 hours


Clinical and field experience: 144 hours


Delivery: Hybrid live instruction with required in-person laboratories


Admission prerequisite: Current EMT certification or licensure


Certification pathway: National Registry AEMT Examination
