Hands-On Skills
Learn infection prevention, patient identification, equipment selection, order of draw, venipuncture, capillary collection, labeling, and specimen handling.

Course Completion
Students who meet all attendance, skills, live-collection, and testing requirements receive a Granite Mountain Training course-completion certificate.

$850 Tuition
Tuition is $850: a $200 deposit toward tuition and a $650 balance. Course materials and standard lab supplies are included. The optional NHA exam is billed separately.

Live Collection Requirements
Document at least 30 successful venipunctures and 10 successful capillary or finger sticks on live individuals during authorized, supervised training.

NHA CPT Exam Preparation
This program is designed to prepare students for the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam. NHA independently determines exam eligibility and awards certification.

Phlebotomists are trusted members of the healthcare team who collect blood specimens used to screen, diagnose, and monitor patients. They confirm patient identity, prepare equipment, perform venipuncture and capillary collections, label and handle specimens accurately, maintain infection-control standards, and help patients feel informed and at ease.

Classes meet March 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2027, from 9 AM-3 PM Arizona time at 112 N Summit Ave, Prescott. The course provides 32 instructional hours over three weeks; scheduled attendance includes breaks.
Attendance at every class and lab is required. Students must complete all skills, live collections and assessments to receive a Granite Mountain Training course-completion certificate.
